When it comes to 7 singles look for vinyls with a small center hole.

First you need to widen the holes in the vinyl. They will need to be different sizes so you ll need a 78 a 33 1 2 and a 45. I found mine at salvation army for 50 a piece. A cupcake stand centerpiece.

Don t apply to much heat as to destroy the record a little heat goes a long way. Simply use a lighter or a heat gun to heat the centre hole of the record. In my case the hole was a tiny bit too big and i had to reinforce with a dab of glue. Once it s heated push the record onto the threaded bar.

This will expand the opening of the record to 10mm. The thicker the vinyl the better and the cake stand will withstand more weight.
